in this thread you can call from your own number to anywhere for only 5min
just follow the steps…. >>

1. Go to http://www.mobivox.com and register there for free account.

Experts: Jackson case now a full criminal probe

‘This is about building a criminal case,’ not cause of death, lawyer says

LOS ANGELES – The odd array of evidence police collected from Michael Jackson’s personal physician’s clinic and storage unit shows authorities are trying to follow a trail of drugs and looking into the doctor’s record keeping as they attempt to unravel what led to the pop star’s death.

Search warrants targeting Dr. Conrad Murray’s Houston clinic and his storage unit mean authorities have moved into a full-fledged criminal investigation, looking toward the kind of court case they could build against the physician, legal experts said Friday.

“This is no longer a cause of death investigation,” said attorney Mark Geragos, who once represented Jackson. “This is about building a criminal case.”

Loyola University law professor Laurie Levenson said she expects to see search warrants served at more places associated with Murray and for investigators to be interviewing his employees.

“I do think they believe there’s high suspicion that he may be responsible” for Jackson’s death, she said.

Items seized
Los Angeles police and Drug Enforcement Administration agents executed the warrants Wednesday. The language in the documents said the evidence is being gathered as part of a manslaughter investigation targeting Murray.

Authorities have not publicly termed their investigation criminal and still say Murray is not a suspect.

The items seized included 27 tablets of the weight loss drug phentermine, a tablet of the muscle relaxant clonazepam, business cards, storage receipts, notices from the Internal Revenue Service and computer hard drives.

Authorities also took e-mails from and correspondence addressed to Stacey Howe. Records listed Howe as “administrator” at Murray’s Las Vegas business, Global Cardiovascular Associates Inc. Attempts to reach her Friday were unsuccessful.

Murray, 51, was hired as Jackson’s personal physician not long before he died. He was in Jackson’s rented Los Angeles mansion when the pop star was found unconscious the morning of June 25 and tried unsuccessfully to revive him.

Murray has kept a low profile since Jackson’s death. He was interviewed twice by police but has not spoken publicly. Doors to his Las Vegas office were locked Friday with red curtains drawn behind them.

Los Angeles County assistant chief coroner Ed Winter said a final determination on Jackson’s cause of death is not expected until the end of next week, when toxicology reports should be finished.

Long medical history
Jackson had a long history of prescription drug use and was under anesthesia for many medical procedures over the years.

Propofol, a powerful anesthetic that should only be used by specially trained medical professionals, has emerged as an important part of the investigation. Doses of it were found in Jackson’s mansion, according to a person with knowledge of the investigation who is not authorized to speak publicly.

The search warrants granted permission for authorities to seize items “including but not limited to billing records, medication orders, transport receipts, billing receipts, medical records and computerized medical records.”

‘A once in a lifetime opportunity’
Geragos said that indicates police are following a trail which involves purchases of drugs by Murray and possible shipment of drugs to Jackson’s home.

PHOENIX – Lured by promises of chewing gum then allegedly raped in a shed by four boys barely older than her, an 8-year-old Liberian girl is now in foster care and living with strangers after being shunned by her family.

The alleged sexual assault in Phoenix and reaction by her family have sparked an international outcry, reaching all the way to the president of Liberia, the home country of the girl’s family and the four young suspects.

“I think that family is wrong. They should help that child who has been traumatized and they should make sure that they work with the U.S. law authorities to see what can be done about the other young boys who have committed this offense,” Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf told CNN. “Not only should they abide by the law, but they too need serious counseling because clearly they are doing something, something that is no longer acceptable in our society here.”

Sirleaf has tried to combat rape in recent years, seeking to dispel stigmas by publicly acknowledging that she was herself the victim of attempted rape during the country’s civil war.

‘Blamed for everything’
But experts who study the developing world say the parents’ reaction highlights the struggles of many women around the globe.

“They’re always being blamed for everything,” said Monica Westin, founder of World of Hope International, which promotes human rights. “It’s always the girl’s fault. There’s no gender equality.”

Westin said West African refugees often keep in touch with friends and relatives back home and try to maintain their culture. Many have grown up uneducated and find it hard to change their customs.

“Sometimes it’s like they never left the village,” she said. “They have this extended family, they stick together.”

Four boys charged
A 14-year-old boy was charged Wednesday as an adult with two counts of sexual assault and kidnapping, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said. He appeared in court Thursday and was being held without bond.

A public defender assigned to represent him did not immediately respond to a message left Friday afternoon.

The other boys — ages 9, 10, and 13 — were charged as juveniles with sexual assault. The 10- and 13-year-old boys also were charged with kidnapping, the office said Thursday.

Police say the girl’s father told a police officer and a Child Protective Services worker that he doesn’t want her anymore.

But Slueue Goe, who is from Liberia and identified himself as the uncle of the 9- and 10-year-old suspects, said he knows the girl’s parents and doesn’t believe allegations that they blamed or shunned their daughter.

He denied that his nephews are capable of sexual assault, and said his country does not have a rape problem.

“We are from West Africa. We are well-behaved people. We are trained people. It is our culture to respect,” Goe said.

Legacy of Liberia’s violence?
The children come from a country torn by a civil war that brought decades of violence and exposed generations of children to brutality before its end in 2003.

“What you’re seeing here is the very long legacy and reach of the violence that took over Liberia for 70 years,” said Pamela Scully, a professor of women’s studies and African studies at Emory University in Atlanta. “When you’re dealing with children this young, they’re mimicking actions they’ve seen, they’ve heard about, they’ve grown up with.”

President Sirleaf said she would ask Liberian Ambassador Milton Barnes to work with the family and Phoenix authorities to ensure the girl’s protection.
